The Raigarh District spread over an area of 6527.44 sq km . The majority of the district's population live in villages. Virhor specific tribe of the district is inhabited in Dharmjaygdh area. Gond, Kanwar, Oran is included in the list of other major tribes. Raigad district is historically significant. The Singnpur, Ogna, Krmagdh hills and mountains punctate near Raigad Shailcitr by humans has been found in the prehistoric era. Pujaripali Brmkela block which is in the village, Puratativk vision is quite famous. Singnpur hill 18 kilometers from Raigad Ramjrna near the picturesque location. the district is divided into 9 Tehsils, 9 Blocks and 1430 revenue villages. The places of tourist interest in the districts are Ram Jharna, Gomarda Abhayaranya, Gaurishankar Mandir, Shayam Mandir, Pahadh Mandir , Banjari Mandir, Chandrahasini Mandir, Kamla Nehru Park, Haritima, and Indira Vihar Parks.
